As we all know, a very important trend change has taken place in the global and Chinese chip industry in 2020: Chip shortage.

At the end of 2020, due to the interweaving of various factors such as the global business environment, the ongoing pandemic, and international trade and sanctions, the entire semiconductor industry underwent changes. This change has led to some adjustments faced by Chinese chip supply chain enterprises, which have led us to consider how to find out of stock products and alternative solutions.

At the same time, the State Council has issued relevant policies, hoping that China's chip self-sufficiency rate will reach 70% by 2025, while in 2019, China's chip self-sufficiency rate was only around 30%.

To achieve this, we not only need to make efforts in research and development and manufacturing, but also need a global semiconductor supply chain system that integrates multiple parties. This poses a global transformation or upgrading challenge for semiconductor supply chain enterprises. This transformation or upgrade poses higher requirements for the informatization and digitization of enterprises, requiring them to establish a more effective supply chain system.

Specifically, this transformation involves issues such as how to reduce costs, how to expand channels, whether to expand from global to domestic or from domestic to overseas, deployment in different markets, implementation, quality control, and self-control.

The process of Digital transformation or upgrade inevitably involves ERP. ERP is the planned and systematic management of enterprise resources. It is not simply using a system for management, the important thing is to
